The Cashplus Gold Card is a MasterCard Prepaid card. This means that like a pay as you go phone, you need to put money on to the card account before you can use it. It is not a debit card that is linked to a bank account or credit card where you pay for your transactions at a later date. It's a pay as you go MasterCard prepaid card. You just top it up - it's easy! There is no credit on the card so you will never owe money to the card as you would with a credit card and there is never any interest to pay.

Applying is very simple your parent or guardian registers and opens an account with Cashplus(main Account Holder) they will receive there own card this opens the account and at the same time they register you so you can have your own card this is called an Associate Card (which costs £4.95). You will then receive your card in the post within 7 days in your name, your parent or guardian then puts money on your behalf onto your card and it is ready for you to use. It is important to note that one main account holder can register for up to four Associate Cards, so if you have brothers or sisters who are 13+ they can have a card as well.
The cost of the Main Card is £9.95. Having a Cashplus card is more secure than carrying cash you can even use it to top up your mobile phone, receive your pocket money or gifts from relatives and save your profits from trading on SupaSwap. NOTE FOR PARENTS
Once you have received your card you must contact customer services on 0871 277 5599 to activate your card and confirm you have a 'Total Access' card. If you do not have a 'Total Access' card you may be required to submit to our free post address, Proof of Identity and/or Proof of Address. You will not be able to apply for additional cards (ages 13+) if the main account holder has not been issuesd with a 'Total Access' card. 'Total Access' card means a card which has been issued to a person over the age of 18 years who has supplied appropriate proof of Identity and UK address.
